Program OverviewThe ROP Residential and Commercial Construction course is a full-year program (two semesters) designed to introduce high school students to the essential skills and career pathways within the building and construction trades. Students will gain foundational industry knowledge through a blend of classroom instruction and rigorous hands-on projects, including the construction of a shed or micro-house.
Participants will master basic safety, tool calibration, and blueprint reading while earning their OSHA 10 and NCCER Core certifications. This course will provide the opportunity to earn up to 6 Butte College Credits.
