Program OverviewThe Medical and Hospital Careers ROP course is a full year course (two semesters) designed to expose high school students to a variety of health occupations and to prepare them for foundational roles in the healthcare workforce.
Students will gain basic healthcare knowledge and skills through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on learning experiences, culminating in 9 Butte College Credits and your CPR Certification. This program is an excellent first step for students considering careers in medicine, nursing, allied health, and other hospital roles.
