Here's a snapshot of what's happening at Butte County CTE:

• The online application for our Spring 2026 Phlebotomy Technician program is currently open and will close at 4pm on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026
• The online application for Session 3 of our Professional Welding Academy is currently open and will close at 4pm on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026
• Our second annual Butte Glenn 8th-Grade Career Day is set for Thursday, February 26th, 2026

1. Mark your calendars! We're excited to announce a professional development event, in collaboration with Glenn County Office of Education, featuring Mark Perna on Friday, December 5th at the Chico Masonic Center.
2. On Thursday, February 26th, 2026, the third annual Butte/Glenn 8th Day Career Day will take place at the Glenn County Fairgrounds!
3. Big news! BCOE CTE’s Dental Assistant Apprenticeship Program has been officially approved by the Division of Apprenticeship Standards.
