Butte County CTE is excited to offer camps for middle grade students that combine fun with the development of powerful career skills!

Summer 2025 Summer Camp Offerings:
Intro to Welding (2 weeks available)
  • Week 1: FULL
    • Monday, June 16th - Friday, June 20th (NO CAMP on Thursday, June 19th due to holiday)
    • 8:30am - 12:30am
    • Location: Butte County CTE Welding Facility, 2145 Park Ave, Suite 7, Chico
  •  Week 2: FULL
    • ​Monday, June 23rd - Thursday, June 26th (NO CAMP on Friday)

Why Career Skills Camps?

Middle school students are at the perfect age to be exposed to career possibilities and begin career planning. Butte County CTE is proud to partner with local agencies to provide camps focusing on career technical education skills to students in grades 6-8. 

Our middle school camps allow students to:
  • Build new skills
  • Provide career exploration
  • Consider high school career pathways
