Dental Assistants play a vital role within dental practices, working under the supervision of Dentists to ensure efficient office procedures and excellent patient care.

Earn As You Learn
The Butte County CTE Dental Assistant Apprenticeship Program provides the necessary training and preparation, at NO COST to the Apprentice, to gain the necessary skills and experience to work as a professional Dental Assistant, while maintaining a consistent income. The program also prepares you to sit for the CA state board to become a Registered Dental Assistant.

Skills Based Program
  • 160 hours of in-class technical instruction
  • 2000 hours of on-the-job training
  • 1 Year Program
  • Credit for prior experience and demonstrated skills

Work Experience
Gain workplace-relevant skills through on-the-job learning assigned to an experienced Mentor

Coursework taught by industry certified professionals

  • 18 Years of Age or Older 
  • High School Diploma or GED
