Leap into your Future!

Join us for the launch of the first annual Butte/Glenn 8th Day Career Day—an interactive event providing ALL 8th-Grade students in Butte and Glenn counties the chance to explore career opportunities from industry professionals in our region and learn about the skills, education, and training required for various careers.

Early career exploration can help students make more informed decisions about their future education and career paths. By learning about different careers, the skills required, and the job market, students can make knowledgeable choices about which high school and post-secondary educational paths to pursue and what job skills to develop. 

This event will bring together approximately 2,000 8th-Grade students and approximately 500 local educators, industry professionals and volunteers.
