Butte County CTE operates Butte County ROP, providing career technical education to adult in Butte County and beyond. ROP stands for Regional Occupational Program and is a state-funded Career Technical Education (CTE) program that is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE), as well as the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). In cooperation with the local business community, ROP prepares people for work by providing youth and adults with marketable skills, work ethics, and job training needed to build and keep a career.
