CTE Online News Our team is completing final reviews of the lessons written by this year’s CTE teachers from across the state of California. Due to the ongoing pandemic, our Fall and Spring Institutes were conducted virtually, each with two days of intensive curriculum development instruction. After each Institute, teachers independently developed four lessons in their CTE area supported by a Team Lead. From there, the lessons go through two additional levels of review before core content experts align them to standards. By this July, all 176 new lessons will be available to educators across the state (and the world) for free at www.cteonline.org. CTE Online by the Numbers:
Testimonial “CTE Online is far and away the best for making us work at producing good lessons for the site... I am a better instructor having written and used lessons from CTE Online.” Butte County ROP/CTE was honored this March to host the wonderful team from COE (Council on Occupational Education) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) during our recent re-accreditation visit.
Accreditation is a valuable process that allows us to demonstrate our "capacity, commitment, and competence to support high-quality student learning and ongoing school improvement." We are so thankful to our teachers, industry and business partners and our staff for making our continued accreditation possible, and for supporting our students in achieving their career goals. Congratulations, Team! |
